The Smilyan Bastion (English; Bulgarian Смилянски рид Smiljanski RID ) is a rounded, icy, 1550 m high and km in south-north-west orientation 13 as well as 16 km long broad mountain range on the Loubet coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . On the west side of the Hemimont Plateau, it rises 11 km south of Armula Peak , 13 km north-northeast of Hayduta Buttress and 15.45 km east-southeast of Quervain Peak . Its steep south, west and north slopes are partly not icy. The Barnes Glacier is to the south, the Blind Bay to the southwest, the Forel and Sharp Glaciers to the west, and the Klebelsberg Glacier to the northeast.
British scientists mapped it in 1978. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2016 after the town of Smiljan in southern Bulgaria .
