Tuxedo rock show
Smokings Rockshow was a German music group. It was founded in 1985 and dissolved in 1988.
Band history
In 1985 Burkhard Lasch founded the band as the successor to Petra Zieger and the Smokings . Lasch cast the band with:
- Michael Barakowski ( vocals ) from Perl
- Marion Sprawe (vocals) from itching
- Alexander Kirfe (vocals, saxophone , keyboard ) from the Smokings
- Michael Otter (vocals, guitar )
- Uwe Geisler ( bass guitar )
- Karsten Lipsius ( drums )
The band's artistic director was Henning Protzmann von Karat . After Lasch left the GDR in 1986, the band was called Michael Barakowski and friends from then on . Sprawe and Geisler left the band, but Uwe Karsten from Wir came .
Later the addition "and friends" was omitted, and the band only appeared as Michael Barakowski . At the same time, there were new successes.
