Snow White's Poison Bite was a Finnish metalcore band with horror punk influences from Joensuu .

history

Snow White's Poison Bite was founded in 2007 and consisted of the musicians Allan "Jeremy Thirteenth" Cotterill ( vocals / guitar ), Tuomo Korander (guitar), Jarkko Penttinen ( bass ) and Teemu Leikas ( drums ).

In May 2008, Snow White's Poison Bite won the Big Boom Band Competition . The prize was a three-day recording session in a modern recording studio and the opportunity to perform at the Himos Festival 2008. Their debut EP named after the band was produced and released in 2008 on their own. In early 2009 the band signed a deal with Poko Rekords ( EMI Finland) and released the EP Drama Through Your Stereo . The band was the opening act for the American band Alesana , which played in Helsinki . On the Music Against Drugs tour, which was started by the organization Youth Against Drugs , the band played for the first time in all of Finland.

The band was signed to Sound of Finland Records in early 2010 and released their debut album The Story of Kristy Killings in October 2010. The album was released in Japan via Marquee / Avalon . In the United States, the album is only available as a download from iTunes . Previously released the singles Valentine's Doom and Kristy Killings .

The band played in April 2011 in the opening act for the Swedish band Her Bright Skies . In May 2011 Toumo Korander, Jarkko Penttinen and Teemu Leikas announced that they were leaving the band. Due to the departure of the three musicians, a scheduled tour of Finland had to be canceled.

With Tuomo Räisänen (guitar), Wili Ala-Krekola (drums) and Hannu Saarimaa (bass), Cotterill found three new musicians. In October 2012, the group announced that they had been signed by the US label Victory Records . The album was released in April 2013 Featuring: Dr. Gruesome And The Gruesome Gory Horror Show . In April and May 2013 the group toured with Her Bright Skies and Farewell, My Love as part of the Bryan Stars Tour through the United States. Following this tour, the group played on another concert tour with Chomp Chomp Attack! from Canada.

In November 2018 the band broke up.
