Maggie Stepfather (born November 18, 1981 in Harrisonburg , Virginia ) is an American writer .

Life

At the age of 16, stepfather officially changed her first name Heidi to Margaret . She went to Mary Washington College , graduating with a bachelor's degree in history .

Stepfather is married and has two children.

Film adaptations

Unique Features, in partnership with Warner Bros., bought the film rights to After Summer shortly after the book was released. The script was written by Nick Pustay .

Private

Maggie Stiefvater is a hobby racing driver and writes essays about cars in various online specialist magazines. In recent years she has owned several racing vehicles and street-legal sports cars , such as a '73 Chevrolet Camaro , two Mitsubishi Lancer Evo , a Ford Fiesta ST , a Datsun 280Z and a Nissan 370Z , whose license plates and paintwork are inspired by her novels (e.g. B. "Shiver" and "Thief" as license plates, or "The Raven Boys" as the design of the Ford rally vehicle).
