history

In 2007 Her Bright Skies released their first EP called Behind Quiet Waters . The album was produced and distributed in-house.

The band released their first album in 2008 and is called A Sacrament: Ill City . This CD was released under the District 19 label . Two years later the second album Causing A Scene followed , released on Panic & Action , a Swedish indie label. Causing A Scene is available in Germany . A single for the song Little Miss Obvious was released for the album . A music video was also shot for this single (only available online). For the shoot, the band flew to England , where London and Manchester , among others , acted as locations.

The release party was followed by a tour of Sweden. At Pier Pressure 2010 in Gothenburg , the group played together with HIM , Paramore , 30 Seconds to Mars , Pendulum and other bands. There are already concerts with Adept and Bring Me the Horizon . The group toured Scandinavia with BMTH . The band played with Anna Bergendahl and Medina at the Vätterfest . In addition, the band co-headlined the Panic & Action Tour together with Kid Down , which again led through Sweden. The group has also given concerts in Norway , Germany , Austria and the Netherlands . The band performed on the siesta! Festivalen , which took place from July 2nd to 4th. Her Bright Skies was there with Asking Alexandria , ... And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead , August Burns Red , Adept , Bullet and other artists.

On July 6th, 2011 there was an appearance at Putte i Parken . There also were Kesha , Dead by April , Monster Magnet , Paramore, Pendulum, Rasmus Seebach and The Wombats on.

During a tour through Sweden, the band was supported by Dead by April. In March 2012, a semi-acoustic EP called "DJ Got Us Falling in Love" (named after the Usher song of the same name ) was released. The group began work on the follow-up album to Causing a Scene in New York in February 2012 . The album is called Rivals and was released in January 2013. In April and May 2013, the group toured the United States for the first time . This was done as part of the BryanStars sponsored BryanStars Tour .

On January 6, 2014, the band announced on Facebook that Jonas Gudmundsson would be leaving the band.

"Hey! I just want to take the time to thank all of you for your support for me and the band. I hope you will continue to support them as well and no matter who replaces me. Thanks for all these years. I will miss you all! Jonas "

After the band had been quiet for a long time, it was announced in early 2016 that the group would split up after a final concert on March 25 of the same year. Four years later, the band announced their return as a quartet and a new single called Bored , which was released on March 20, 2020.
