Sobrado is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .

Sobrado belongs to the county and town of Castelo de Paiva in the Aveiro district . The community had an area of ​​5.4 km² and 2779 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).

On September 29, 2013, the parishes of Sobrado and Bairros were merged to form the new parish União das Freguesias de Sobrado e Bairros . Sobrado is the seat of this newly formed community.
