Sofie Marie Countess Adelmann (born September 2, 1905 in Hohenstadt , Oberamt Aalen , † May 19, 1993 in Berlin ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Sofie Marie Countess Adelmann was a daughter of Gustav Graf Adelmann von Adelmannsfelden (1858–1938) and Elisabeth Adelheid Marie Countess von Yrsch-Pienzenau (1878–1964). From 1917 she attended a lyceum and later a women's school in Austria . From 1922 she trained as a state-recognized welfare worker in Berlin. From 1932 to 1953 Adelmann worked for the Berlin Free Welfare Service . After the Second World War she joined the CDU in 1945 and was elected to the district council assembly in the Charlottenburg district in the Berlin election in 1948 . From 1953 she was managing director of the Catholic German Women's Association (KDFB) in Berlin. In the 1958 election she was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives, to which she then belonged until 1967.
