Softline International is an internationally operating Russian service provider for information and communication technology based in Moscow . The company, founded in 1993, is mainly active in the CIS countries and Eastern Europe , as well as in Southeast Asia and South America . The product range includes IT services, IT outsourcing , technical support, training, cloud computing as well as consulting and advice.
history
The company was founded in 1993 by Igor Borovikov. The ten employees initially developed software for scientific applications, but soon expanded their business area. Softline soon became an IT service provider . As early as 1995, they became an official Microsoft partner . Softline soon began a large-scale expansion. Offices began to be opened in neighboring countries, such as Kazakhstan and Ukraine . Branch offices in Uzbekistan , Georgia , Belarus , Mongolia and numerous other countries of the former Eastern Bloc soon followed . Offices in Turkey , Vietnam and Venezuela were soon added.
According to a study from 2008, Softline was the market leader in the field of IT service providers in Russia .
Since then, the company has continued to grow and opened up new business areas, such as cloud computing , and now also supports start-ups as a venture capitalist . In 2011 Softline also announced that it would support the Skolkowo innovation center (known as “Russian Silicon Valley ”) being built near Moscow .
