The Soholmer Au is a river in the districts of Schleswig-Flensburg and Nordfriesland in the German state Schleswig-Holstein . Its canalised river sections are known as the Soholmer Au Canal and the old stretches as the Alte Soholmer Au .

The river has a length of about 25 km, rises near Nordhackstedt through the confluence of Spölbek and Linnau and flows south of Risum-Lindholm into the Bongsiel Canal .
