The sculpture path by P. Struycken ( Dutch Beeldengalerij P. Struycken , De Beeldengalerij voor Den Haag and formerly also called Sokkelplan ) was created in 1990 in The Hague based on a concept by P. Struycken .

The concept includes sculptures placed on oval terrazzo bases that imitate granite . You are in the pedestrian zones : Grote Marktstraat , Kalvermarkt and Spui von Den Haag. 40 Dutch sculptors working in the Netherlands were asked to make sculptures for the path. The sculptures were placed 25 meters apart on pedestals made by the ceramist Geert Lap. In 2008, at the beginning of the The Hague Sculpture Festival, all the sculptures were put up.
