The Sokuluk ( Kyrgyz Сокулук ) is an 87 km long right tributary of the Aksuu in the north of Kyrgyzstan .
The Sokuluk rises on the northern slope of the Kyrgyz mountains . The river is fed by the glaciers below the main ridge. The Sokuluk flows through an approximately 50 km long mountain valley in a northerly direction. The place Tösch-Bulak is located in the lower section of the valley. At the end of the valley, the Sokuluk flows through the town of Sokuluk , which is also the administrative center of the Sokuluk administrative district of the same name . At the northern edge of Sokuluk the Great Tschüikanal crosses the river. Further north, the Sokuluk flows through the two small reservoirs Sokuluk and Spartak , before flowing into the Aksuu about 5 km south of the Kazakh border. The Sokuluk drains an area of 476 km². The mean discharge is 5.14 m³ / s.
