The Aksuu ( Kyrgyz Аксуу ; Kazakh Ақсу Aqsu ) is a right tributary of the Tschüi in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan .

The Aksuu rises on the northern slope of the Kyrgyz mountains . The river is fed by the glaciers below the main ridge. It initially flows in an arc in a westerly direction along the western flank of the 4446  m high Putin Peak . Later the Aksuu turns to the northwest and north. It flows through a 70 km long mountain valley in a northerly direction. At the end of the valley of the river passes through the places Temensuu and Belovodskoye . The Great Tschüikanal then crosses the river. The Aksuu continues its course through the plains interspersed with irrigation channels. He passes the place Sretenka . Further downstream, the Sokuluk flows into the Aksuu on the right. The course of the Aksuu River runs in Kyrgyzstan within the Moskovsky administrative district . It crosses the border to Kazakhstan in the lower reaches. A few kilometers later the Karabalta joins the Aksuu from the left. The Aksuu finally reaches the southern bank of the Taschutköl reservoir , through which the Tschüi flows.
