Solís is a town in Uruguay .

geography

It is located in the Maldonado department in sector 5 . The Río de la Plata coastal town of Solís is on the border with Canelones . The village is separated from the Jaureguiberry , which is already located to the west in the neighboring party, by the Arroyo Solís Grande, which flows here . The closest places in the hinterland are Gregorio Aznárez and Cerros Azules , while in the east, beyond the mouth of the Arroyo de las Espinas, Bella Vista adjoins immediately .

Infrastructure

The Ruta 10 has its origin in Solís, where the Ruta 99 meets.

Residents

In 2011 Solís had 288 inhabitants, 142 of them male and 146 female.
