The neighborhood is bordered in the south by Osloer Strasse, in the northwest by Drontheimer Strasse / Provinzstrasse and in the northeast by the route of the Berliner Nordbahn . In the north there are allotment garden colonies and industrial settlements.

The quarter is about 72 hectares and has a population of 15,408 (2002). This corresponds to a population density of 21,400 inhabitants per square kilometer (comparison: Monaco: 17,000 people / km²; Manhattan 26,000 people / km²).

The name- giving Soldiner Straße runs right through the neighborhood , while the Panke runs alongside . The Stephanuskirche is located at the level of Prinzenallee .

At the northern end or the extreme southeastern end, the S-Bahn stations Wollankstrasse and Bornholmer Strasse are adjacent, and in the southwest the U-Bahn station Osloer Strasse .

The district is looked after by the district management at Soldiner Strasse / Wollankstrasse .
