Soloschyne ( Ukrainian Солошине ; Russian Солошино Soloschino ) is a village in the south of the Ukrainian Poltava Oblast with about 800 inhabitants (2001).
The village is located on the north bank of the Dnepr , which is dammed up to the Kamjansk reservoir , and administratively belongs to the district council of the neighboring village of Hryhoro-Bryhadyriwka in Kobeljaky district to the west . Soloschyne is 38 km southwest of the Kobeljaky district center .
In 1924 the Ukrainian writer and hero of Ukraine Pavlo Sahrebelnyj, who died in 2009, was born in the village .
