Son Mi-na (born October 8, 1964 ) is a former South Korean handball player . She participated in two Olympic Games and took the Olympic oath in 1988 .

Son Mi-na made her Olympic debut at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles . She moved into the final with the team, in which, however, she lost. With that she won the silver medal in the handball tournament . Four years later, at the 1988 Summer Olympics , Son Mi-na took the Olympic oath with basketball player Hur Jae during the opening ceremony . In the tournament , the South Korean team reached the final, in which they won the gold medal.
