Song Xiuyan
Song Xiuyan ( Chinese 宋 秀 岩 ; born October 1955 in Liaoyang , Liaoning Province ) is a politician in the People's Republic of China .
Song joined the Chinese Communist Party in 1978 and studied economic management at their school. She also studied political science at the Chinese Youth University . She later served as the vice secretary of the Party's Provincial Association in Qinghai until 2002. From 2007 to 2010 she was the governor of Qinghai Province .
Since 2010, she has been the CCP Vice Chairwoman, First Secretary, and Party Secretary of the All-China Women's Federation.
Song has been a candidate since 1997 and has been a member of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party since 2007 .
