Sonia Ortiz

Sonia Ortiz is a German actress, speaker and director.

Career

She completed her training from 2006 to 2009 at La Casona, Formación Investigación Teatral in Barcelona and at the Coaching Company Berlin . In 2015 Ortiz won the Klicksafe Prize with the theater group PlayBack as part of the Grimme Online Award.

After studying in Barcelona and Berlin, she was appointed to the master class for directing at the Kazan Methodika Theater Festival in Russia. Ortiz has appeared in several short and feature films and several theater productions. At the same time, she began as a speaker, especially for several series. One focus is on productions by the provider Netflix . In the feature film sector, Ortiz played the role of Julianne (played by Oona Castilla Chaplin in the film The F-Word ). In the series Orange Is the New Black , she lent her voice to "Young Miss Rosa" played by Stephanie Andujar . In 2016 she directed the short film Supay for the first time - a story about a lesbian couple in Peru. As assistant director, Ortiz was supported by Christhian Esquivel , who is especially known in the Spanish region .
