Sonja Kosta

Sonja Kosta , also Sonja Costa , actually Sonja Kotz (born January 25, 1924 in Rosenheim ; † after 1977), was a German stage and film actress and a singer.

Live and act

The merchant's daughter attended elementary school and then went through a commercial apprenticeship at the beginning of the Second World War. In addition, Sonja Kotz received ballet lessons at a young age and also received training in singing and acting. Equipped with this ability, Sonja Kotz, who soon took on the stage name "Kosta", went on a Wehrmacht support tour in 1943/44.

After the war ended in 1945, Sonja Kosta was given an engagement at the Munich State Operetta and performed in cabarets. She also appeared in a number of feature films between 1949 and 1955, and later also in television films, and appeared in radio play roles and as a jazz interpreter in dance bands. In the 1960s, Sonja Kosta largely disappeared from the public eye.
