Soufian El Hassnaoui (born October 28, 1989 in Ede , Gelderland ) is a Moroccan football player . He plays in the position of a striker .

Career

Born in Ede, Gelderland, El Hassnaoui has been part of the professional squad of VBV De Graafschap in Doetinchem since 2008 . In his first season he was not used in the Eredivisie , but contributed after relegation in the Eerste Divisie with five goals in 22 games to the direct resurgence of the Gelderland. At the beginning of the 2010/11 season he was only used four times in the Eredivisie, after which a serious knee injury put him out of action. For the season 2011/12 he came back to the squad and next to Rydell Poepon in the regular formation of the Superboeren . On the second matchday El Hassnaoui scored his first goal in the top division, the intermittent 2-0 lead in the away game in a 2-2 draw against FC Utrecht . A few days later, his contract was extended by two years to 2014. After the contract expired, he moved to Heart of Midlothian in Scotland, where he signed for three years.
