Benjamin Oeser

Benjamin Oeser (born September 3, 1990 in Annaberg-Buchholz ) is a German actor , singer and musical performer .

Life

Benjamin Oeser was born as the oldest of four siblings and grew up in the small town of Schlettau . He attended elementary and middle school according to the Jena plan in Markersbach.

From 2009 to 2013 he studied acting at the " Academy for Performing Arts Bavaria " and graduated with distinction . During his studies he was engaged several times at the Landestheater Oberpfalz . In addition to some plays, he also worked in the musicals Footloose , The Rocky Horror Show and in the European premiere of Xanadu .

From 2013 to 2015 he got his first professional engagement at the Uckermärkische Bühnen Schwedt . In addition, he worked as an advertising spokesman for radio spots and gained his first experience in shooting short films.

After two years of practical work, Oeser began studying the newly founded musical master’s course at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding in Munich in 2015 and completed his master’s course at the beginning of 2017.

During his student days he worked as a leading actor in the European premiere of Big Fish at the Prinzregententheater in Munich and at the Heilbronn Theater under the direction of Andreas Gergen .

He then played at the Musiktheater im Revier in Gelsenkirchen and at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz in Munich .

  • 2015 finalist in the main competition of the 44th national singing competition in the musical / chanson category.
  • 2016 scholarship from the German Stage Association for musicals.
  • 2017 multiple prizewinner of the MUT (competition for musical entertainment theater) singing competition, winner of the media, audience and 1st prize of the competition jury.
