The South Loddon River is a river in the southwest of the Australian state of Tasmania .

River course

The river has its source on the western slopes of Mount Emma in the northern part of the Franklin Gordon Wild Rivers National Park . From there it flows north and flows into the Loddon River about two kilometers south of the Franklin Hills .
