Marburg Social Court

The social court in Marburg is a court of social justice . The court is one of seven social courts in Hessen and has its seat in Marburg .

Courthouse

The old, conspicuous courthouse Gutenbergstrasse 29 was given up in early 2018. Since then, the court has been using rooms in the Am Mühlgraben administrative center (building parts C and D) at Robert-Koch-Straße 17.

Judicial district and higher courts

The Marburg Social Court is locally responsible for the Waldeck-Frankenberg district and the Marburg-Biedenkopf district. The factual jurisdiction results from the Social Court Act .

At the state level, the Hessian State Social Court is the higher-ranking court. The Federal Social Court , located in Kassel, is superordinate to this.
