Spöck is a district of the Kirchheim community in Swabia in the Unterallgäu district . The small village with about 100 inhabitants is located directly south of Kirchheim in Swabia on a ridge above the Flossach .

history

The first documented mention is in 1187. The first mention of the Diepenhofen mill is from 1329. In 1468 Spöck came into the possession of the Knights of Schellenberg zu Kirchheim. From 1492 to 1809 Spöck grew from 14 to 23 properties. From 1818 to 1978 Spöck was an independent municipality in the Mindelheim district . Then Spöck is incorporated into Kirchheim in Swabia in the new district of Unterallgäu .
