The Sparkasse Ingolstadt Eichstätt is a public financial institution with headquarters in Ingolstadt and Eichstätt in Bavaria . It was founded in 1827. Its business area includes the entire city of Ingolstadt, the Eichstätt district and parts of the Pfaffenhofen district.

The Sparkasse Ingolstadt Eichstätt is an institution under public law . The legal bases are the Savings Banks Act , the Bavarian Savings Banks Code and the statutes issued by the Sparkasse owner . The municipal body (Art. 4 SpkG) of the Sparkasse is the Zweckverband Sparkasse Ingolstadt Eichstätt, to which the city of Ingolstadt, the district of Eichstätt, the city of Eichstätt and the district of Pfaffenhofen adIlm belong as members. The organs of the Sparkasse are the board of directors and the administrative board.
Merger with the Sparkasse Eichstätt
On January 1, 2017, Sparkasse Ingolstadt merged with Sparkasse Eichstätt to form Sparkasse Ingolstadt Eichstätt. Sparkasse Ingolstadt Eichstätt is based in Ingolstadt and Eichstätt. The IT merger took place on March 18, 2017.
