The Sparkasse Lippstadt is the savings bank for the cities of Lippstadt , Warstein , Rüthen , Erwitte and the municipality of Anröchte . It is an institution under public law. The Sparkasse is run by the Savings Bank Association of the cities of Lippstadt, Warstein, Rüthen, Erwitte and the municipality of Anröchte. The savings bank was founded in 1842.
Mergers
On January 1st, 2009 the Stadtsparkasse Lippstadt and the Sparkasse Warstein-Rüthen merged to form Sparkasse Lippstadt - Zweckverbandssparkasse der Stadt Lippstadt-Warstein-Rüthen. In 2017 the Sparkasse Lippstadt merged with the Sparkasse Erwitte-Anröchte .
