The Spheroid Hill is a 1230 m high and mainly non-iced mountain in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises north of Blue Glacier and 1.5 km east of Ellipsoid Hill .
The mound is one of a series of geographic features named by the New Zealand Geographic Board in 1993 using terms from geodesy and mathematics . Names refer to the figure is spheroid ( English spheroid ).
