The Spitzige Lun is a 2324 m high summit in the Planeiler Mountains , a subgroup of the Ötztal Alps in South Tyrol .
location
It is located in the Vinschger Oberland , above the village of Mals and the slopes of the Sonnenberg , and is the last south-westerly foothill of the ridge that borders the Planeiltal in the east.
The name is possibly derived from the Romansh Piz Vilan , which roughly means "local mountain".

- Ascent via Malettes ( 1500 m )
