Sport aktuell (Switzerland)

sportaktuell is a daily sports program on Swiss radio and television , which is usually broadcast after 10 p.m. on SRF two (Monday to Friday) or SRF 1 (Saturday). It reports on current sporting events in Switzerland, but also from abroad. The reports on the national football and ice hockey round are very important.

history

The program was first broadcast on September 1, 1997, and the first edition was hosted by Thomas Aebischer . Well-known former moderators include Steffi Buchli , Matthias Hüppi and Sascha Ruefer .

When sporting events are broadcast on SRF Zwei in the evening, for example the Champions League , sport is usually currently canceled. Sport is currently generally not broadcast on Sundays, but the sports panorama is broadcast on SRF Zwei at 6.30 p.m. and the late edition of the Tagesschau on SRF 1 contains an extensive sports section.

Since 2017, the program Sportflash has been broadcast on SRF Zwei at 8 p.m. , in which short sports news are presented.
