Sportklub is an Eastern European sports broadcaster of the IKO Media Group of the Hungarian media entrepreneur Tamás Rákosi . The station has been broadcast in Hungary, Romania, Poland, Serbia and Slovenia since 2006 and in Croatia since 2007. Among other things, it broadcasts football, ice hockey, motor sports, basketball and boxing.
On June 16, 2010 it was announced that the sports club will also start in Germany in autumn 2010. The channel is to be distributed via cable , satellite and IPTV . As a pay broadcaster , you want to do without teleshopping or erotic channels in the program. The focus should be on self-produced live broadcasts. Managing director Ralf Manthey can imagine broadcasting football games from top leagues in other countries or, for example, American Saturday Night Boxing. Furthermore, the focus should also be placed on basketball and motorsport. But sports from Germany should also be shown, but fun or extreme sports should be avoided.
