Squares on Both Sides is a German musician whose work moves between traditional singer-songwriter elements and almost classic , minimalist arrangements.

Squares On Both Sides creates compositions from a variety of instruments (acoustic and electric guitars , harmonium , piano ), samples , field recordings and vocals in sole studio work . In addition to the individual publications, the musician, who used to live in Berlin and now lives in Munich, created the film music for various projects, including a. the award-winning documentary Small Half, Big Story (2006).

Squares On Both Sides released his third album on February 14th, 2009 on the Luxembourgish label own records , after his previous label Hausmusik had to close at the end of 2007.
