Reece Thompson

Reece Thompson (born November 22, 1988 in Vancouver ; born Daniel Reece Thompson ) is a Canadian actor .

Life and accomplishments

Thompson appeared in films and television series as a child. In the horror film Dreamcatcher (2003) he played the role of Joe "Beaver" Clarendon as a young boy, who was played as an adult by Jason Lee . In the television comedy A Cousin to Smooch (2003) he appeared on the side of Judge Reinhold and Penelope Ann Miller .

He also starred as Jinto in the television series Stargate Atlantis as a child .

In the independent comedy Rocket Science (2007), Thompson starred as a stuttering high school student who joins the debating club led by Ginny Ryerson ( Anna Kendrick ). In the comedy Long Legs, Short Lies and a Glimmer of Truth ... (2008) he played the lead role as a reporter for a school newspaper; supporting cast included Mischa Barton and Bruce Willis .
