Squash World Championships in doubles and mixed 1997 / mixed

The mixed of the world championships in doubles and mixed 1997 in squash took place from December 11th to 14th, 1997.

In the final, the top seeded pairings Cassie Jackman and Chris Walker from England and Liz Irving and Dan Jenson from Australia faced each other. Irving and Jenson won the game 15: 9 and 15:12 and thus became the first mixed squash champions.

The participants consisted of ten double pairings in the knockout system playing off the winner. The two best doubles were seeded.
