Sreeshankar Murali (born March 27, 1999 ) is an Indian long jumper .
Athletic career
Sreeshankar Murali gained his first international experience at the Indoor Asian Championships 2018 in Tehran , where he finished fourth with 7.60 m. At the Junior Asian Championships in Gifu he won the bronze medal with 7.47 m. He qualified for the U20 World Championships in Tampere , where he was seventh with 7.75 m. At the end of August he took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the first time and reached sixth place with 7.95 m. The following year he took part in the World Championships in Doha and was eliminated there with 7.62 m in qualification .
In 2018 and 2019, Murali became Indian champion in the long jump.
