The Střední vrch (German Mittenberg ) is a prominent mountain in the Lusatian Mountains in the Czech Republic .
Location and surroundings
The Střední vrch is located in the Klíčská hornatina called the southern ridge of the Lusatian Mountains, five kilometers east of Česká Kamenice ( Bohemian Kamnitz ) and three kilometers north of Kamenický Šenov ( Steinschönau ). To the south, directly at the foot of the mountain, are the small villages Dolní Prysk and Horní Prysk ( Nieder- and Oberpreschkau ).

From the summit there is a wide view of the Lusatian Mountains, Saxon-Bohemian Switzerland and the Bohemian Central Mountains .
Paths to the summit
There are no marked hiking trails leading to the summit of Střední vrch. The ascent to the summit is possible with easy climbing along the old, historical ascent path.
