St-Germain (Arsac)
The Catholic Church of St-Germain in Arsac , a French parish in the Gironde department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , was originally built in the 12th century and greatly modified from 1843 to 1878.
The church, consecrated to St. Germanus of Auxerre , has been protected as a monument historique since 1908 .
Only the portal on the south side has survived from the Romanesque period .
Of the church furnishings , a gilded wooden sculpture of the Madonna and Child and an altar with retable and tabernacle from the 18th century are worth mentioning.
