St-Jean-Bosco (Paris)
The Saint-Jean-Bosco Church is a Roman Catholic parish church in Paris . It belongs to the Archdiocese of Paris and is located at number 79 on rue Alexandre-Dumas in the 20th arrondissement of Paris . She is the founder of the Salesian consecrated . The church has been a protected architectural monument ( Monument historique ) since 2001 .

The church was built by the architect Dimitrou Rotter (1878–1938) and his son René Rotter from 1933 to 1937 in the Art Deco style. The foundation stone was blessed in March 1933 by Cardinal Jean Verdier and it was completed on October 10, 1937. The parish belonging to it was established on February 20, 1938 and is supplied by the Order of the Salesians of Don Bosco.
The exterior of the church is made of reinforced concrete, completely covered with a white coating. The church is 60 meters high.
The ornamentation and the Way of the Cross come from the studio of the Mauméjean brothers . The windows were made by Jean Gaudin and Antoine Bessac . The sculptures were made by George Sarrez , the ironwork was done by Raymond Subes .
Cardinal Verdier was immortalized on a mosaic.

The organ was built in 1991 by the Dargassies organ building company. The instrument has 29 stops on two manual works and a pedal . The actions are electric.
