The Roman Catholic Church of Saint-Médard in Croix-Moligneaux is a Romanesque- Gothic transition style church from the 12th century in the Somme department in the Hauts-de-France region ( France ). It has been classified as a Monument historique since 1922 .

history

The construction of the church goes back to the Canons of Noyon , who participated in the seigneurie ( manorial rule ) of Croix.

construction

The choir of the church dates from the 13th century. The collapsed tower was renewed in the 17th century and after the First World War . The vault is supported by mighty pillars . The Renaissance portal on the south side has a vestibule, which is vaulted by a round arch decorated with diamonds in the archivolt .

Furnishing

The carved high altar dates from the 17th century. The stained glass windows are remarkable .
