The Catholic parish church of St-Pierre-St-Paul in Chambry , a French parish in the Seine-et-Marne department in the Île-de-France region , was built in the late 15th and early 16th centuries. The church on Rue Ville has been classified as a Monument historique since 1916 .

history

The church was built on the site of a previous Romanesque building. After the destruction during the Second World War , the church was extensively restored.

architecture

The church has a nave with four axes and two aisles. The choir closes pentagonal. The capitals of the columns in the nave are carved.

Renaissance window

The choir still has three stained glass windows from the Renaissance with the depictions of the death of the Virgin , the crucifixion of Christ and the burial of Christ .
