St-Sulpice (Ry)
The Roman Catholic Church of Notre-Dame in Ry , a French parish in the Seine-Maritime department in the Normandy region , was built from the 12th century. The Romanesque church has been a protected architectural monument ( Monument historique ) since 1910 .
history
The St. Sulpicius consecrated original church belonged to a local nobleman. The oldest part of the church, the square tower over the crossing , dates from the early 12th century. Major renovations took place in the 16th and 17th centuries. The carved entrance area from the 16th century is of national importance.
