The St.-Jürgen- Klus is a chapel in the Bünder district of Dünne . It was built in the 18th century and goes back to a previous building from the 14th century .

history

The original chapel was built in the 14th century and was initially a branch of the Laurentiuskirche in Bünde. In 1726 it was destroyed in a village fire, the following year the present chapel was built.

In 1903 its own parish was founded in Dünne and in 1904 today's parish church was consecrated. As a result, the St.-Jürgen-Klus lost its importance and fell into disrepair. After a renovation, the chapel was reopened in 1974. In 1986 it was placed under monument protection.

A similar chapel in the neighboring Spradow district was demolished in the 1960s.
