The St. Marien Magdalenen Church is in the Löbstedt district of the city of Jena in Thuringia .

location

The church is centrally located in the former kitchen farmer and industrial workers' village west of the Saale and the Leipzig-Nuremberg railway line and east of the federal highway 88 in the Saale meadow on the village square and surrounded by a street.

history

On July 31, 1712 the St. Mary Magdalene Church was consecrated.

Building description

The church has a church tower and a nave with a hipped roof , four windows and a skylight on each side.

The organ was installed in 1973 by the organ building workshop Rudolf Böhm from Gotha . It has 5 registers , 2 manuals and a pedal .
