St. Andreas in Unterau from the west

The Roman Catholic branch church St. Andreas in Unterau , a part of Schlehdorf in the Upper Bavarian district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen , belongs as part of the parish of St. Tertulin Schlehdorf in the Heimgarten-Schlehdorf-Ohlstadt-Großweil parish to the Werdenfels deanery of the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising . The church at Unterau 49 is a listed building .

history

The core of the church dates from the 15th / 16th centuries. Century. In 1719 it was raised and redesigned in baroque style.

Description and equipment

The east- facing baroque hall church has an onion dome in the north . The choir has moved in.

The painting in the high altar shows the apostle Andrew .

The church is surrounded by the quarry stone cemetery wall with tuff decking panels . It dates from the 18th century.
