First of all, citizens of Teinitz built a wooden chapel . In 1507 a stone church in the late Gothic style was built, which was consecrated on April 5, 1516. At the same time a spiritual brotherhood was established in honor of St. Anna founded.
The miraculous image of St. Anna was in a glass box above the tabernacle . Numerous pilgrimages took place to the church. The main festival was celebrated on the Sunday after July 26th.
A crypt for the members of the princely Trauttmansdorff family was erected under the church in 1839 , in which there were also three altars.
Countess Anna Maria Trauttmansdorff had a stone way of the cross built on the road to St. Anna's Church in 1696 .
