St. Bonifatius (Großmölsen)
The Protestant branch church of St. Bonifatius is located in the municipality of Großmölsen in the Sömmerda district in Thuringia . The church is a listed building.
history
The rectangular hall church is probably from the 15th century. It has a retracted west tower. The church was rebuilt in 1611 and 1729.
The church tower has arched sound openings and a curved hood .
The nave has differently made windows. The access to the double galleries is on the north side. The church building with a wooden barrel and sacrament niche and the first antique door on the east wall of the choir . It dates back to the 15th century.
The German Foundation for Monument Protection funded the tower renovation from 2009 to 2010. In 2010 the bells were consecrated . The bells were donated by an unknown donor.
