The St. Christophorus from the springs of the Göppingen mineral fountain is a healing water with a tradition of over 600 years . The Göppingen Sauerbrunnen had its heyday in the 15th and 16th centuries, when many renowned doctors advised a cure in Göppingen.

In order to cure stomach and liver problems as well as loss of appetite, the Göppingen healing water was administered as a bath cure and later as a drinking cure . St. Christophorus is a sodium-containing medicinal water and therefore has a slightly salty taste.
