The Catholic Chapel of St. Franziskus in Oberried , a district of the Breitenthal community in the Swabian district of Günzburg ( Bavaria ), was built in 1769. The chapel at Tafertshofer Straße 8 is a protected architectural monument .

The two-axis rectangular building with a retracted semicircular apse and high roof turret was redesigned in a neo-Gothic style in 1866 .

The furnishings consist of a baroque altar with the sculpture of Our Lady with the child and figures of saints. The crucifix dates from the 18th century. The painting of St. Francis of Assisi on wood is signed “J. Waizenegger 1852 Schre-Meister ”.
