St. Johannes Evangelist (Dürmentingen)
The Church of St. Johannes Evangelist is the Roman Catholic parish church of Dürmentingen in the Biberach district in Baden-Württemberg .
history
The church comes in parts from a late Gothic choir and tower. In 1806 part of the ship was demolished and renewed and enlarged in a classical style. In 1962 the church building was expanded to the west.
Furnishing
In the church there are apostle figures of the Ulm master from Zell am Adelsbach (today Pfullendorf ), which were created around 1490. The high altar picture was painted by Franz Joseph Spiegler in 1729 .
organ
The organ was built in 1964 by Gebr. Späth Orgelbau . The instrument has 25 registers, divided into two manuals and pedal . The action mechanism is mechanical, the stop action is electrical.

In the tower of St. Johannes Evangelist there are 6 bells, cast by the Bachert bell foundry in Heilbronn in 1953 and 1958. They have the chimes h 0 , c sharp 1 , e 1 , f sharp 1 , a 1 and b 1 .
