St. Catherine Church

The Catholic village church of St. Katharina is in the north of the municipality of Lenterode in the Eichsfeld district in Thuringia .

history

The church dates from at least the 13th century, as can be seen from the remains of masonry. A buttress with a Gothic skirting board has been preserved on the church tower .

The church is a simple house of worship with simple shapes and a western tower in front. An octagonal choir with arched windows is attached to the nave . A baroque altar and stalls are part of the equipment of the wide and low room.
