history

There was a predecessor of today's church in the village already in the Middle Ages; however, the exact time when this previous medieval building was built is unknown. Today's St. Kilians Church was built as a uniform building in the post-Gothic style between 1613 and 1617.

The side altars were built in Rococo style around 1750 and were probably made by Johann Joseph Keßler from Königshofen . The high altar and the pulpit are in the classical style and were built around 1780.
